Happy Friday everybody! This week I thought I would share with you my favorite way to pack a picnic lunch or dinner. I love to transport food in mason jars because using individual mason jars means you don’t have to pack plates or bowls. Pasta salad and other similar foods work especially well in mason jars. I recently went on a picnic with my family and made a bowtie pasta salad and a raspberry lemonade. The picnic went really well and clean up was easy because we just put our empty jars back in the cooler.
The pasta salad I made had bowtie pasta, spinach, grilled chicken, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, and Italian dressing. The lemonade was just a basic lemonade with fresh raspberries in it.
