Rice Krispy Dessert

Happy Friday everybody! I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter last Sunday. This week I have another dessert recipe for you. This dessert was really easy to make and was very delicious. The recipe is called Rice Krispy Dessert. Here is how to make it:

You will need: Rice Krispy’s, butter, brown sugar, vanilla ice cream, Danish dessert, and frozen berries.IMG_0941

First melt the butter and sugar. IMG_0942Pour over the Rice Krispy’s. IMG_0943 IMG_0944Press ½ of the Rice Krispy mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 pan. IMG_0945Slice the ice cream and layer it on top of the Rice Krispy crust. IMG_0946Then press the remaining Rice Krispy mixture on top of the ice cream. IMG_0948Place in the freezer for at least 3 hours. When you are ready to serve it, remove from the freezer. IMG_0949Prepare the Danish dessert as directed on the package. IMG_0952Let cool. Add frozen berries. IMG_0953Cut the ice cream into squares and top with Danish dessert as you serve. Enjoy!IMG_0962

  • 4 ½ cups Rice Krispy cereal
  • 1 ½ cubes butter
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar
  • ½ gal. vanilla ice cream
  • 1 pkg. Danish Dessert
  • ½- ¾ cup frozen berries

First melt the butter and sugar. Pour over the Rice Krispy’s. Press ½ of the Rice Krispy mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 pan. Slice the ice cream and layer it on top of the Rice Krispy crust. Then press the remaining Rice Krispy mixture on top of the ice cream. Place in the freezer for at least 3 hours. When you are ready to serve it, remove from the freezer. Prepare the Danish dessert as directed on the package. Let cool. Add frozen berries. Cut the ice cream into squares and top with Danish dessert as you serve.
