Chocolate Cookies

Happy Friday everybody! This week I have another cookie recipe for you. These chocolate cookies were delicious and pretty easy to make. They are really rich cookies so you can only eat one or two but despite that, they went quickly at my house! Here is how to make them:

You will need: flour, salt, shortening, milk, baking soda, cocoa, sugar, one egg, vanilla, chopped nuts (optional), marshmallows, and frosting. IMG_0980First, cream the shortening and sugar together. IMG_0982Then add the egg. IMG_0983Next add the dry ingredients and mix well. IMG_0984Finally, add the milk and vanilla. Mix well. IMG_0985Scoop the dough onto a greased baking sheet and bake for 8 minutes on 350 °F. IMG_0988Bring the cookies out of the oven and place halved marshmallows onto each cookie. IMG_0989IMG_0987Then bake for another 3 minutes. Let cool and frost with chocolate frosting. Enjoy! IMG_0990
