Cheese Crackers

Happy Friday everybody and Happy New Year!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas last week.  This week I have a recipe for cheese crackers for you.  These are one of my favorite crackers and they are really easy to make.  Here is how to make them.

You will need: Flour, cheese (any kind), butter, salt, and ice water.

First, you will combine all of your ingredients in a food processor except for the water.  IMG_1665Then blend the ingredients together until well combined.  IMG_1666Then add the water and mix to make dough.  Form the dough into a ball, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.  IMG_1667Then roll the dough out as thin as possible.  IMG_1668Cut the dough into squares.  IMG_1669Fork around the edges and poke a hole in the center using a skewer.  IMG_1670IMG_1671Bake at 350° F until crisp (the size and thickness of your crackers will influence cooking time).  Let cool and enjoy!IMG_1672
