Butterbeer

Happy Friday everybody!  This week I wanted to share my recipe for butterbeer with you.  This recipe is a combination of of multiple different recipes along with a little bit of trial and error.  I tried a lot of different recipes for butterbeer after my first trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter but none of them were quite the same as the butterbeer you can get there.  But, I eventually created this recipe and in my opinion it tastes pretty close to the real thing and is really easy to make.

Here is how to make it:

First, whip two cups of whipping cream to soft peaks.  IMG_2140Then gently fold in 2/3 cup butterscotch topping.IMG_2145  Next, put 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring in the bottom of a glass and pour 12 oz. of IBC cream soda (IBC comes in glass bottles as well as in plastic 2 liters bottles.  Get the ones in the glass bottles, it tastes better and works better for this recipe) into the glass.IMG_2139  Top with the cream and enjoy!IMG_2149
