Apple Crisp

Happy Friday everybody!  This week I have a recipe for apple crisp for you.  Apple crisp is one of my favorite desserts and is really easy to make.  Here is how to make it:

First, peel and slice about 5 medium apples (5 cups) then add sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and salt.  Mix together until all of the apples are coated evenly.img_2618  Then mix up the crumb topping by combining brown sugar, flour, rolled oats, cinnamon, and nutmeg.img_2615  Pour the apples into the bottom of a greased 8″ square pan.img_2620  Cut butter into the topping mix using a fork.  Sprinkle the crumb topping on top of the apples and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.img_2621  Serve warm.img_2623

NOTE: You can also use 1 21 ounce can of apple pie filling instead of using fresh apples.
