Roasted Chickpeas

Happy Friday everybody!  This week I have a recipe for roasted chickpeas for you.  These chickpeas are super easy to make and are such a good snack.  They also top creamy soups really well.  Here is how to make them:

First, drain, rinse, and dry the chickpeas.IMG_2659  Then toss with the olive oil and spices.IMG_2660  Spread the chickpeas on an aluminum foil covered sheet tray and roast for 20 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.IMG_2671  Let cool slightly and enjoy!IMG_2673

Roasted Chickpeas

  • 1 15.5 oz can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • To taste Garlic and Herb Mrs. Dash seasoning mix (or another seasoning mix of your choice)

First, drain, rinse, and dry the chickpeas.  Then toss with the olive oil and spices.  Spread the chickpeas on an aluminum foil covered sheet tray and roast for 20 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.  Let cool slightly and enjoy!
